Arc is an AI-powered conversational companion developed by Arc Labs LLC ("Arc Labs," "we," "us," "our"). Arc uses artificial intelligence — specifically Anthropic's Claude — to generate responses. Arc is not a human.
Arc remembers past conversations and uses that context to personalize your experience over time. Arc may also analyze your conversations to identify patterns and generate summaries that help it respond more naturally.

Arc is designed to be a conversational companion — someone to talk to, think with, and process your day alongside. It is not a replacement for professional support, and should never be treated as one.
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use Arc.
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If Arc Labs discovers or has reason to believe that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately terminate that account and delete all associated data.
When you create an Arc account, you agree to:
Arc Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
AI-Generated Responses. Every message Arc sends is generated by AI. There is no human on the other end. Arc can make mistakes, misunderstand context, give bad advice, or respond inappropriately.
Memory System. Arc stores your past conversations and uses them to personalize future responses. This includes retrieving relevant past messages using semantic search (matching meaning, not just keywords).
Conversation Analysis. Your conversations are periodically analyzed by AI systems to generate summaries, identify patterns, and extract key details. This analysis is used to improve your experience within Arc.
Imperfect Memory. Arc may remember things inaccurately, forget things entirely, or confuse details from different conversations. Do not rely on Arc as a factual record of what was said.
No Guarantees. Arc Labs does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or appropriateness of any response Arc generates. Arc is provided for conversational and companion purposes.
You agree NOT to:
Arc Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
Ownership. You retain ownership of the content you send to Arc (your messages, the things you share).
License. By using Arc, you grant Arc Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, analyze, and use your content for the purposes of:
What We Won't Do. Arc Labs will not sell your personal conversation data to third parties. Your individual conversations will not be shared publicly or with other users.
Product Improvement. Arc Labs may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from user conversations to improve the service. This data cannot be traced back to any individual user. You may opt out of this by contacting us at aleforsure@gmail.com.
Arc's Responses. Responses generated by Arc are the property of Arc Labs. You are free to use Arc's responses for your personal purposes.

Your use of Arc is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data.
By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
What gets deleted:
Timeline. Account deletion will be completed within 30 days of your request.
Permanence. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Anonymized Data. Some data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form that cannot be linked back to you. This data is used for product improvement and cannot be used to identify you.

Arc may offer a limited trial experience for users who have not created an account.
Trial users acknowledge that:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
Arc Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Arc Labs' total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Arc shall not exceed $100.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arc Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Arc shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
Informal Resolution First. Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact Arc Labs at aleforsure@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arc Labs may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of Arc after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to stop using Arc and delete your account.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arc Labs regarding your use of Arc, and supersede any prior agreements.
